PASS's member schools all cater for students with special needs. These special needs can be caused by:
Each of the specialist schools may cater for one or more of the above areas of disability.
The age of students attending these schools varies from pre-school to 18 years. Different schools have different age ranges.
Entry into these specialist schools is via assessment before gaining eligibility to the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development's Program for Students with Disabilities.
Transport is often provided to the schools depending on certain guidelines.
Staff/student ratios in all these specialist schools are high in order to best provide suitable and appropriate educational programs for their students with special needs.
